This is how you measure the length

Our curtain rails can be mounted on the wall or ceiling, depending on which attachment you choose. The most popular suspension is the curtain rail that is attached to the ceiling and runs from wall to wall, making the room feel bigger! Regardless of the choice of wall or ceiling rail, you decide the length of the curtain. Some prefer the curtain to float above the floor. Others prefer curtains that flow onto the floor, this solution keeps any floor draughts away. The choice is yours!


It is important to take the correct measurements and specify the correct length before purchasing your new curtains, as this plays a role in the final result. Keep in mind that many rooms can be uneven and therefore it is always good to take different measurements in the room. Always take the shortest measurement of your measurement points. The length of your curtains depends on whether you want the curtains to float above the floor or flow out a little on the floor. Follow our measurement guide below to get the right length for your curtains!

For ceiling wave curtains

Floating

Measure the height from the ceiling to the floor and subtract 4 cm ( 2.5 for the depth of the curtain rail and 1.5 cm for it to float just above the floor).

Trailing

Measure the height from ceiling to floor and add 1 cm.

For wave curtains on the wall

Floating

Measure the height from the bottom edge of the curtain rail to the floor and subtract 1.5 cm (for the curtain to float just above the floor) .

Trailing

Measure the height from the bottom edge of the curtain rail and add 1 cm.

For ceiling blinds

Floating

Measure the height from the ceiling to the floor and subtract 1.5 cm (for the curtain to float just above the floor).

Trailing

Measure the height from ceiling to floor and add 1 cm.

For pleated blinds on the wall

Floating

Measure the height from the top edge of the curtain rail and subtract 1.5 cm (so that the curtain floats just above the floor).

Trailing

Measure the height from the top edge of the curtain rail and add 1 cm.
